Harriet DofB 1st April 2014 she has one brother.

Harriet’s mother is mentally ill and her father has abandoned her, she is cared for by an aunt who struggles to provide school fees. Harriet is lively and assertive and would like to be a nurse. Her favourite meal is matooke and beans. She is smart and likes a clean environment.


Harriet is in top nursery class.

Racheal DoB 21st June 2016 She has one brother

Racheal is cared for by her mother, her father abandoned the family when she was a baby. Her mother struggles to provide for them and Racheal often misses school due to a lack of fees and materials.

Joy DofB 18th February 2010 she has three siblings.

Joy is cared for by her mother, her abusive father abandoned the family and remarried. Joy is healthy, lively and loves Sunday School. She is average in class and would like to be a teacher.

Her mother is a teacher but struggles to provide for her family.

She is cared for by her mother sells pancackes to try to provide for her children but struggles to provide the basic needs. Florence likes school and would like to be a nurse. She enjoys playing on the swings at church and and her favourite food is matooke, rice and meat.

Aloisious DoB 17th June 2016. He has three siblings.

Since his father was killed in a motor accident in Nov ‘17, he is cared for by his mother who struggles to provide for the family. Aloisious is an intelligent child and he would like to be a clergyman. He enjoys eating matooke and beans. He helps at home with washing up and his favourite colour is blue.

Timothy DoB 20th November 2014 he has three siblings

Timothy and his siblings were abandoned by their parents and are now cared for by their 78 year old grandmother, who struggles to care for them all. The lack of school fees has prevented Timothy starting school on time.  He has a stammer which causes him to be very quiet and shy.
