WHY SMALL COMMUNITY PROJECTS?

Stitches of Hope Stitches of Hope Shop

TO SHARE THE LOVE OF CHRIST

Christian Hope International exists to share the love of Christ with people overseas in Africa.  Each project is prepared with the needs of the recipient in mind.

The ideas for the projects come from our partners overseas and Christian Hope International seeks to respond to those needs.

TO RESPOND TO IDENTIFIED NEEDS

Moving away from dependency to self sufficiency is a key focus of many of the projects.

Education

IMPROVING EDUCATION

A good education should be a basic right for every child. School fees, materials and lunch  are  vital, but sadly for so many children in need these are things they can only dream of.

Your donation to our EDUCATION fund will help us provide these essential items.

Maybe you could be the answer to a child’s prayer by choosing to SPONSOR A CHILD . Your sponsorship gives regular support for your child and can change their life for eternity.

Or become a SCHOOL PARTNER and financially support a specific school.

Health

IMPROVING HEALTH

Medical care when we need it is a luxury we in the west take for granted.

Unfortunately, many in developing countries are still dying from easily treatable illnesses due to a lack of medicines.

Your donation to our HEALTH fund enables money to be sent to church run clinics for the purchase of life saving medicines, and speaks of the love of God to a family in need.

Church run clinics attempt to treat all who seek their help, unfortunately they often cannot afford the staff required. Our NURSE+ project currently funds three nurses in church run clinics in Rwanda and Uganda,

Self-Sufficiency

PROMOTING SELF-SUFFICIENCY

The gift of a hen, pig or goat provides manure which improves the soil for better crop growth and provides young which can be kept, or sold to provide the basic needs of a family. A bag of seeds can feed the family all year. A donation to our LIVESTOCK & AGRICULTURE fund can bestow this blessing on a family.

For those without land a small micro finance loan can help start or expand a small business, enabling the family to better provide for their own needs. Our LOAN4HOPE project, funds these initiatives which are administered and supported through our partners in the local churches.

Spiritual Growth

SPIRITUAL GROWTH

All our projects are designed to spread the Gospel, bringing the knowledge of God's love by giving our partners in the local churches a platform to reach out to their communities in practical ways. However some of our projects offer far more obvious ministry than others.

Providing funds for Youth Mission, Bibles and Bikes for pastors is a vital element of the work of CHI. Your donation to our SPIRITUAL GROWTH fund can help the message of hope reach those who need it most.

Repairing

REPAIRING

The Sunday church offering often comes in the form of eggs, bananas and vegetables, sacrificial giving for many families. Unfortunately, these offerings do not maintain the churches and church school buildings which fall into disrepair due to a lack of monetary income. A Renovated church or school is a beacon of light in a community, and restores faith and hope.

You can donate to our REPAIRING fund and enable renovation and repair of these schools and the local churches.

Stitches of Hope

STITCHES OF HOPE

Across the country a silent army spend their days knitting and crocheting beautiful items which are sent, via our link with Mission Without Borders, to orphanages and communities in need in Eastern Europe.

Each item, knitted and sent with love through our STITCHES OF HOPE project, does not only provide warmth for the recipient but lets them know others care for them, and speaks of His unfailing love.
