New Year Adventures

Sun rising over aeroplane's wing

This year marks the 30th year of the charity supporting those in need, initially in Rwanda, and then branching out further to support other areas of need, and now back to supporting those in Rwanda and Uganda, helping spread the Gospel whilst offering practical help through the Anglican church.

As a UK charity whose funds are sent overseas, the Charity Commission insists the charity visit all countries, where the funds are spent and work is carried out, at least once every 4 years. Later this month the team will be visiting Africa - this time spending time in both Rwanda and Uganda to evaluate projects - completed, in progress and new! In Rwanda we will be visiting the churches that have been renovated/built this year in Byumba - 7 in all, and new projects in Cyangugu which we are very excited about and look forward to sharing more about that with you. In Uganda we will be visiting the schools that were renovated following our visit in 2020, including the Aunt Louise School for the disabled, and the clinic in Kimwanyi to see how the solar panels have improved things for both of them, and of course we will spend time with the sponsored children in Kijjabwemi. Keep up to date with our adventures either by visiting the website, or by following us on Facebook or Instagram, we will be posting about our travels accompanied by lots of photos every day. We will be covering in excess of 1200km across the two countries by air and car, please pray for journey mercies.
